Vulturoid is music from Chris Bihuniak, an ASCAP award-winning artist. These alternative rock songs were all written, recorded and produced by Chris in 2025.
The lyrics were inspired by world news, politics, travel and various non-sensical topics written with a sense of humor.
The song arrangements are standard rock-n-roll with guitar, bass, drums and an occasional synthesizer. Chris also likes to incorporate "text-to-speech" voices.
The name "Vulturoid" combines vulture and asteroid and was concocted after seeing black vultures flying around
the historic area of Panama City, Panama. While relaxing in a rooftop pool, an actual vulture landed near Chris and gave him a long stare. It was a sign.
THIRD LP
The Third Vulturoid album was released in December 2025. This album is less political than "Second." It's a continuation of things on Chris's mind regarding the future of mankind, the first lady, suburban sprawl and more. Chris also played real drums on several songs. Everything was recorded in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
SECOND LP
The Second Vulturoid album was released in November 2025. Most of the lyrics were conceived in the USA, but all of the music was written and recorded in a closet in Panama City, Panama. Many of the songs were inspired by
news headlines mixed with satire and mockery. Some people will be offended and some people will applaud, hopefully.
FIRST LP
The First Vulturoid album was released in September of 2025. After turning off the news for several years, Chris decided to get informed about world issues when the possibilities of Donald Trump getting re-elected became a reality.
"Orange Man Blues" and "It's A Disgrace" was Chris's creative result. Chris had also written and performed "Sweet Priscilla" with another band. The other songs were written and recorded in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
